About

This is my attempt at making the best Millencolin fan site ever. Every record on here I own, all of the photos are from my own collection.

So who am I to do this MillenWiki thing? Well, nobody I guess. Me and Millencolin does however go back a while. The first I heard of Millencolin was in 1994 when I first heard “Tiny Tunes”, after that I bought all the Millencolin records I could find.
Although, growing up in northern Sweden outside of Umeå I was far from the scene in southern Sweden and was heavily influenced by the Umeå Hardcore scene with bands like Refused, Abhinanda and Shield who also released debut records in 1994, of course followed by many others, as well as other bands from northern Sweden such as Breach and obviously other northern Swedish skatepunk bands like Randy.
Along with a growing interest in skatepunk I started listening to other Swedish skatebands from southern Sweden like Satanic Surfers and No Fun At All pretty much at the same time I started listening to Millencolin, mainly because they where all on Burning Heart and I got their mailorder catalogue in the mail.

At the same time, around 1994-1995 I, much like pretty much everyone else into skatepunk at the time, started listening to bands like Bad Religion, Lagwagon, NOFX, Propagandhi, No Use For A Name, Pennywise, RKL, The Offspring, Ten Foot Pole, Green Day and a whole bunch of other bands as the skatepunk thing became sort of popular.

That was a long time ago, the love for skatepunk has however followed me to this day, and not finding a good Millencolin fan-based website I decided to create one of my own. (Let’s see how that turns out…)

As for my love for skatepunk, here’s my top 50 skatepunk albums Spotify playlist: The best 50 skatepunk albums

A few years later I moved down to Örebro to study at Örebro University, so yeah, now I live down here.

I’ve played in some bands as well, maybe check them out?
