Information:

The CD single contains the title track “Battery Check” from the “Home from Home” album. It was released as a single on July 3, 2003 by Burning Heart Records also containing a Swedish language version entitled “E20 Norr” as well as the song “Bowmore”.

“Battery Check” and “E20 Norr” was recorded in Little Big Room Studios, Haninge. Vocals on “E20 Norr” was recorded at Sound Lab Studios, Örebro and “Bowmore” was recorded at Studio Kuling, Örebro, 2003.

This Swedish version of “Battery Check” was named after E20 Norr, the northern heading part of the European route E20 which runs from Ireland to Russia and pretty much in the middle through Sweden and the band’s home town of Örebro.

There’s an alternate version of the single titled “E20 Norr” with the Swedish version as the first track and “Battery Check” as track number two with both versions containing the b-side song from the “Home from Home” sessions “Bowmore” as the third track.

An accompanying music video was also filmed and released in both languages, with the English version titled “Battery Check” and the Swedish version titled “E20 Norr”. Both versions of the song and the music video are identical except for the language used. The video was shot in Melbourne and Adelaide during the Big Day Out tour in Australia 2003.
