Information:

The compilation album “The Melancholy Connection” follows up their first compilation album “The Melancholy Collection” which also contained rare and unreleased tracks.

The compilation contains the two newly recorded tracks “Carry You” and “Out From Nowhere.”

The release also contains a bonus DVD starting off at the Soundwave festival in Australia with the bands 10th year anniversary of Pennybridge Pioneers playing the album as a whole. The first show playing the album as a whole however was in their hometown of Örebro, where the celebration began. After that the band toured the world playing the entire record, which is what the documentary is about.

[Staff note [Simon]: I was at the Örebro show held at Club 700 in October 2002 and it featured Brett Gurewitz (of Epitaph/Bad Religion) playing the Bad Religion Song “American Jesus” and the Millencolin song “Fox” with the band, that footage was somehow lost and does not appear on this DVD. This show was also the start of a yearly skateboard contest at Brädcentralen in Örebro called Millencolin Open. The supporting band at the Örebro show was Bombshell rocks.]
